This item is made of feldspar porcelain, one of the oldest and most proven materials for degusting and presenting food and hot drinks. Because of the high firing temperature and the resulting hardness and density, it is also called hard porcelain. Feldspar porcelain is always oven-safe, suitable for the microwave and dishwasher-safe.

The 6 high-quality porcelain plates measuring L 21.5 x W 21.5 are suitable for indoor consumption, outdoor service and for party service with high sustainability and avoid disposable tableware. Of course, the 6 pizza plates can also be used individually and perform professional work in the snack and takeaway business thanks to their high-quality hotel porcelain. In Mediterranean restaurants, they can be used to serve and present small portion sizes in an appealing way, while the segment plate gives the family pizza, a German favourite, a very special touch.

Recommendations for use
The 6/6 layout, i.e. 6 segmented plates, can be put together to form a 44 cm circle. On buffets and narrow tables, you can also create half circles, quarter circles and opposing lines. The segment plates are suitable for a 30 cm pizza in sixths, a 28 cm and 26 cm ready-made pizza (e.g. Dr. Oetker Ristorante, Wagner Steinofenpizza, Finizza, etc.) in fourths and sixths. So 30 cm pizza 1/6, 28 cm pizza 1/4 and 1/6, 26 cm pizza 1/4 and 1/6.

The segment plate has a flat bottom, which helps to keep pizza slices warm from below. While conventional pizza plates are designed with a lower plate ring, this segment plate transfers the full heat to the pizza slices from below, e.g. through hot plates, ceramic hobs and heating pellets. Thus, the plates help the pizza offer to achieve a higher level of heat stability.

A high utility value arises when washing, handling and storing! While large 40 - 44 cm pizza plates do not fit into a household dishwasher and many commercial front-loading machines, the pizza slice porcelain plates take up only a small amount of space. Their shape makes it possible to make excellent use of the existing washing-up area. They can also be easily stored, kept and transported in high porcelain stacks.
