This item is made of feldspar porcelain, one of the oldest and most proven materials for degusting and presenting food and hot drinks. Because of the high firing temperature and the resulting hardness and density, it is also called hard porcelain. Feldspar porcelain is always oven-safe, suitable for the microwave and dishwasher-safe.

In very few cases minor pinholes or light refractions can still be seen when reviewed carefully. As porcelain is a natural product, the item is "top" but not "perfect". This quality level is comparable e.g. with Bauscher, Schönwald, Rosenthal, Villeroy & Boch, RAK and many other well-known premium brands.

COFFEE TO GO
The three-part mug set Coffee to Go (Set3) consists of the handle-less porcelain mug Terry, 0.25 l in size designed for a serving size or unit of 0.20 l a heat-insulating sleeve and a drinking lid made of green, dishwasher-safe silicone.
This version of our ecological contribution to avoiding unnecessary paper cup waste is dedicated to all those who would rather use a reusable sleeve and a plastic clip-on lid than use a disposable paper sleeve like Starbucks and a disposable lid for every portion of coffee or tea. We are unable to determine here which is ultimately better from an ecological point of view. However, we do not find drinking tea or coffee through a silicone lid to be pleasant and we feel that it affects the taste. Hence our subjective recommendation: Use disposable lids.
Whether Tea-to Go or Coffee to Go, a sleeve is recommended in any case from a filling temperature of over 50°C. If you prefer to use the reusable porcelain mug with standard paper sleeves, please order the Terry mug CTG 120 for 0.25 l or the larger 0.40 l with the article number CTG 330.
The reusable mug Coffee to Go is based on the concept mug Terry, which we have equipped with special functional features give it multifunctional properties.
The 0.25-litre to-go cup, which holds 0.2 litres, is adapted to the standard serving size at petrol stations, bakery shops and beverage vending machines, leaving room for milk and sugar and still retaining sufficient slosh tolerance to prevent the hot drink from spilling over when subjected to minor vibrations.
The specially shaped rim ensures that every standard 80-mm disposable lid is held firmly in place, making the to-go cup independent of any lid suppliers. Since to-go cups are often transported back in handbags, briefcases or rucksacks after use, we have made the porcelain body a little more substantial and the reinforced rim is also a very effective protection against chipping. We have kept the lower diameter of the porcelain mug small enough so that it should fit in all standard car cup holders.
The Federal Institute for Risk Assessment has also established that the use of plastic and bamboo cups in conjunction with hot drinks can have effects that range up to health hazards (see product information/comparison & versus). However, many consumers are unaware that disposable packaging such as pizza boxes and paper cups are not hygienically cleaned before final use and are often stored and transported for months under putrefactive conditions.
No material is more hygienic than porcelain. When used correctly, every consumer can ensure the hygienic stability of their drinking cup for years. Porcelain is vegan, suitable for allergy sufferers and highly sensitive people. Above all, porcelain does not absorb foreign substances in the mass and speed of bamboo or plastic. If you're not out and about with the handle-free cup, you can use it for milkshakes, iced coffee, fruit teas, milk smoothies and latte macchiato.
