Porcelain Painting
At Holst Porzellan, we offer a comprehensive range of over 100 items, which are ideal for commercial porcelain painters and professional porcelain painting studios. It is not only the appearance and design that are important; the porcelain must also be of pure material quality and fully sintered. Otherwise, unwanted reactions and deformations may occur during the post-firing process. The items shown below are made of feldspar porcelain and are suitable for porcelain painting, regardless of whether they are post-fired in reduction firing or oxidation firing.
It is standard practice for experienced porcelain painters to carry out a firing test before commencing production of a small series. This is because every porcelain reacts differently and changes the atmosphere in the kiln.
There are significant cost savings to be made by porcelain painting studios, nurseries and hobby painters if second choice porcelain is used. Even minor imperfections such as glaze noses, small spots and pinholes can be painted over or concealed with a little artistic creativity. For more information, please refer to our II.
