System Bowls
The term "system bowls" describes bowls and bowls with special properties for use in system catering. These special functional features generally relate to
- maximum possible sinking depth into each other when stacking
(this is important for the efficient handling of large quantities in stacks)
- reinforced stacking edges
(reduces the breakage rate in the scullery, during stacking and transport)
- low shrinkage tolerances
(ensures the accuracy of fit of lids & heat-retaining systems)
- edge- & seamless inner surfaces
(improves washing results and hygiene)
- straight and smooth base surfaces
(enables error-free loading by automatic stackers)
- glazed shelves (mouth edges)
(prevents discolouration and contamination from food residues)
- solid body thickness of at least 4 mm
(reduces breakage and keeps food warm longer)
- pure white body made of genuine feldspar porcelain
(bowls containing clay e.g. (clay bowls made of inferior ceramics reduce the detection of soiling)
- transparent feldspar glazes
(guarantee the highest possible protection against glaze corrosion)
