Beautiful porcelain & accessories for Easter - inspiration for spring
Easter combines many ancient origins and its rituals date back many hundreds of years before the birth of Christ. The Easter rituals and symbols come from a wide range of different northern and southern European cultures, which were only incorporated into the Christian festival of Easter many centuries later. They all essentially combine the joy of life as the meaning of Easter. Easter eggs, Easter bunnies and even Easter fires symbolise fertility and the rebirth of nature.
Easter is a celebration of joy and is not tied to the Christian faith. With Easter, we celebrate the expulsion of the winter spirits and rejoice in replacing the melancholy of winter with the power of the sun and the blossoming of nature. With the vernal equinox at Easter, we start dressing differently, cleaning, beautifying balconies, gardens and flower boxes. Many people enjoy Easter decorations in their homes and on their tables. The dishes also change and the heavy, wintery dishes are transformed into healthy, summery cuisine. Asparagus season marks the beginning of the first round of spring dishes.
