In comparison to typical borosilicate tea cups made from heat-resistant special glass, porcelain tea cups do not get as hot at the handle and body. This means the guest doesn’t have to wait 10 minutes before being able to hold the cup. Our bowl-shaped tea cups can be stacked for storage, taking up far less space in the cupboard than hard glass tea cups. Ceramic tea dishes crazes and quickly loses its aesthetic appeal and hygiene stability, unlike porcelain. There’s a reason why ancient Chinese cultures enjoyed their fine teas in porcelain.
