Serving ice cream in style

Ice cream is probably one of the most popular foods in all countries during the summer months. Ice cream is also very popular all year round and has become a culinary experience in many cases. Estonia leads the way in Europe with an annual consumption of 12.5 kg (source: Statista 2019). The land of gelati, with its Italian ice cream culture, ranks fourth with 8.4 kg, while Germany consumes 3.7 kg per capita. Italian ice cream parlours traditionally give the ordinary ice cream sundae a special ambience with colourful, decorated ice cream glasses that were once Venetian. But ice cream has become more colourful and is now enhanced with fruits, sauces and sweet toppings, offering a unique play of colours. No material or colour provides a better, more beautiful and more elegant setting for these ice cream creations than white porcelain.
