Dishes
The essential success of a dish depends on three factors: smell, taste, and presentation. Porcelain, as the most durable serving ware, significantly contributes to the success of food and menu presentation. The shape, colour, and function of a plate or bowl can entirely transform the appearance of a dish. It is precisely for this reason that we created this inspiration "Serving Suggestions for Dishes and Meals."
The ideas and foundations for these serving suggestions come both from the classic traditions of serving utensils and from the input of chefs, amateur cooks, and serving professionals who have recommended them to us over the many years of developing our collection. Ideas and design proposals drawn from practice are the best success factors for a good product.
In our view, some dishes should only be served in classic forms, such as crème brûlée, tart, pizza, or fondue. The plates and bowls created for these dishes have unique, dish-specific functions that should generally not be altered.
Other dishes, such as burgers, schnitzels, salads, or chicken wings, gain a unique character when presented in special bowls or on unusual plates and platters. Especially in times when many ready-made products compensate for the lack of time and staff, it is important to use small tricks and tweaks to distinguish frozen and convenience products from the ordinary. Appealing serving ware is a major success factor in this regard.
