Buying porcelaine online - what we ask of you

In accordance with the Distance Selling Act, private consumers are entitled to return products purchased online without providing a reason. As a small-to-medium-sized enterprise, we prioritise personalised customer care. If you have any queries about a product, require further information, or feel that our product advice is insufficient, please do not hesitate to contact us. 

Please note that any package returned as a 'selection collection' will significantly reduce the value of the goods. We therefore ask that you only order items that you truly require and select them carefully. Buying porcelaine on the internet - what you should know

Porcelain is designed to withstand the test of time and is not susceptible to any form of use-related or temporal ageing. It is crafted from 100% natural, mineral raw materials and fired at temperatures exceeding 1,320°C. The true value of porcelain lies not in a perfectly flawless surface, but in its distinctive functional and usage properties. 

Our porcelain is designed for professionals who prioritise these properties over minor imperfections. This quality level is referred to as 'mixed sorting', which is employed in order to maintain competitive pricing by excluding minor, inconspicuous flaws. The proportion of the item can vary depending on the item and the type of production, with a maximum of 20% (80a/20b). Many of our items are handmade, which sets them apart from synthetic products such as plastic or melamine tableware. Unlike many of our competitors, we tell it like it is and don't talk nonsense about unique quality or the highest level. We offer high-quality products at a fair price, which we believe is a balance between affordability and quality.

Porcelain of a similar quality to that of more expensive brands, and potentially of a higher quality overall, is priced at twice the amount or more. Our quality is significantly higher than that of discounters, a Swedish furniture store chain or other inferior products. However, we are not KPM, Herend, Augarten or Noritake. Conversely, a significant proportion of our product range is suitable for use in frying and baking, is chip-resistant, thermo-shock-resistant, acid- and scratch-resistant, and will remain in good condition for many decades. How long does despatch take?

All items in this shop marked with a 'green traffic light' are ready for shipment from our warehouse in Bielefeld. The standard delivery time for goods within Germany (excluding the islands) is 2-3 business days.
