Maxima

The Maxima design is a porcelain series dedicated to refined enjoyment. The plates and bowls are rimless, gently coup-shaped, and offer an open canvas for arranging and serving dishes.

With their slightly raised and visible edges, Maxima avoids intrusive rim reinforcements, giving it an elegant appearance. Made from genuine feldspathic porcelain, the bowls, plates, and platters are significantly more durable and resilient than standard household tableware. Despite its sophisticated design, Maxima is ideal as "robust everyday tableware for daily use" in a modern household.

In the hospitality industry, Maxima distinctly sets itself apart from the slightly heavier coup-shaped hotel porcelain typically designed for large-scale operations such as canteens, catering, cafeterias, and hospitals, like the Katja series by Holst Porzellan.

Unlike rimmed designs, coup-shaped rimless designs utilise the entire porcelain surface for serving and portioning dishes. This is particularly advantageous where space optimisation on tables and buffets is crucial. As a result, larger portions can often be presented on plates and platters with smaller diameters.

Thanks to its minimalist design, the platters, plates, and bowls of the Maxima series work well as standalone pieces and can also be seamlessly combined with other porcelain series without appearing mismatched. On buffets, the large porcelain platters (40, 45, and 50 cm) are especially popular and deliver a striking "wow effect" in XXL restaurants.

Crafted from genuine feldspathic porcelain in a semi-thick design, Maxima offers all the benefits of robust professional-grade porcelain, including dishwasher safety, microwave compatibility, and high resistance to corrosion, cuts, and mechanical stress. Feldspathic porcelain is also suitable for hypersensitive individuals and, unlike Bone China, is free from animal-derived substances, making it ideal for vegan use.
