In the commercial sector, the Basic-Line series is designed as an so called beginner-series and for short-term use, such as events, parties, or instances where porcelain is needed for a limited period. This range is also an affordable option for smaller establishments that prioritize budgetary constraints and do not have access to large dishwashing systems or conveyor dishwashers.
At Holst Porzellan, we manufacture the Basic Line in three different production facilities as a permanently available alternative to batch goods and special offers of second-choice porcelain for the price-oriented consumer and all those looking to save money. The Basic Line is produced in large quantities and may occasionally show slight variations in terms of quality and shape. However, the design language and expression of the items are always consistent, and the deviations are barely visible to the untrained eye. This makes the items in this series a good and permanently available higher-quality alternative to all special items as a regular series. We recommend Basic Line above all to short-term tenants, the cost-conscious catering trade and young, trendy restaurants. For private use, Basic Line is ideal crockery for everyday use.
Please be advised that the Basic Line is made of real hard porcelain in a stable body design, which is characterised by greater resistance than the typical household body. The Basic Line is 100% dishwasher-safe, microwave-safe and is supplied in a mixed assortment.
