Vital Level Plates

The oval Vital Level platters are part of the Vital Level range, but are very distinctive in their own right. Like the plates, the rim and centre merge harmoniously into a flat surface. The 21, 25, 29 and 35 cm sizes are ideal as platters. The smaller sizes are more suitable for starters and desserts, while the 29 and 35 cm sizes are more suitable for main courses.

These porcelain plates have this particular advantage because the rims – that is, the edges of the plate – are very flat, so the cutlery does not have to be lifted when cutting, as is the case with serving plates with raised rims, for example. Of course, these plate sizes can be used as side plates and small buffet plates, but we at Holst Porcelain have the more suitable Italy porcelain plates for this.

The large plate sizes of 35 cm, VLP 400 at 40 cm and VLP 500 at 50 cm are perfect for carving and filleting at the table. The rims are very flat and do not interfere with the use of carving utensils.
