Line YoYo Kanton
The YoYo Kanton porcelain plates represent one of four shapes from the YoYo series, which includes the square shapes Kanton and Osaka and the rectangular shapes Hong Kong and Shanghai. The square shape of the Kanton plates offers a compact design that saves space compared to a round plate.
The straight lines and stepped, rising edge of the plates distinguish them from the square plates in the Osaka shape. The underside of the plates is flat and not glazed.
In addition to their use as classic plates, the square plates are also suitable as serving plates or carving plates. Holst Porzellan offers nine different sizes of serving and dinner plates. The stepped edge also makes the plates suitable for use as carrier plates in combination with other items in the collection. Furthermore, the 19 cm plate can be combined with the YK 1131 square saucer and compatible upper cups to create attractive, square coffee sets.
All items in the collection are made of sturdy hard porcelain and are dishwasher-safe and microwave-safe. The Kanton square plates form part of the extensive Edge series, which is summarised in full here.
