Line Showplates
The name "Showplates" refers to a very special series of porcelain plates designed to present individual dishes in a striking and extravagant form as a "food presenter".
Some hosts wish to visually highlight certain culinary creations, setting them apart from ordinary dishes and meals. Especially in "molecular cuisine," extraordinary serving elements like these food presenters emphasize the uniqueness of a dish and enhance its visual appeal.
What is a food presenter? At Holst Porzellan, we define a food presenter as a presentation object for dishes. Far removed from an ordinary plate, it aims to achieve the greatest possible visual impact with a small portion size. The Teardrops food presenters allow the round serving or presentation surface to flow seamlessly into an ascending, avant-garde peak without edges or transitions. Whether the serving surfaces are filled or not, the guest will never feel like they are receiving a small portion. Since the ascending peak of the porcelain plate is subtly concave, it can also be garnished or decorated with strips of spices or sauces. Infinitely fascinating and unique presentation options can be created with these food presenters.
Made from genuine feldspar porcelain, Holst Porzellan's Showplates offer all the advantages of professional, gastronomy-grade dishware. Despite their ascending peak, the porcelain plates are highly durable and suitable for use in dishwashers, microwaves, or under salamander grills.
