Line Maxima
The Porcelain Plate Form Maxima is designed to mirror the coup shape and aligns with the design term cuppa. Cuppa, or Kuppa, refers to the upper bowl of a drinking vessel, which has a straight, rimless finish in the shape of a goblet. The Maxima porcelain series is based on this design with a completely rimless finish and represents the concept of coup porcelain more clearly than any other porcelain series from Holst Porzellan. Maxima comprises coup plates (20-27 cm) and round coup plates (40-50 cm), which can be combined with a wide range of accessories. The rimless plate surfaces emphasise the creations of the masters and enable a wide variety of dishes to be presented.
We have dedicated the Maxima shape to the discerning connoisseur and dispensed with the rim reinforcement that is typical of gastro porcelain. Maxima is characterised by simple elegance as a flatware series for the table and thus fulfils a high visual standard above all. The large porcelain plates (40, 45 and 50 cm) are a popular choice for buffets and enjoy a high reputation as XXL porcelain.
Maxima plates form part of the Noble series and are part of a sophisticated tableware range that, above all, conveys a high degree of individuality. They are ideal for hosts and connoisseurs who want to set themselves apart from the character of ordinary catering porcelain. Maxima plates are made from high-quality hard porcelain, which is significantly more stable and hard-wearing than household porcelain. However, they are not suitable for use in bulk or bulk businesses.
