Line Palermo
The Palermo shape is a fully developed cup series that combines Italian design with the German flavour profile. The mugs and cups represent the Germanised version of the typical Italian apple shape with a thicker body and a larger handle. Many guests and hosts find the Italian body thickness too thick and solid, and the handles in particular can usually only be held between the fingers. Cafés, patisseries and, above all, those who serve their coffee specialities from fully automatic machines require a thinner coffee cup without losing the essential functional features and advantages of a hard porcelain cup, such as the stability of the coffee. This requirement profile has been realised in the Palermo coffee series.
The Palermo coffee series meets all of these requirements. The Palermo coffee series offers a comprehensive range of coffee cups, including two espresso cups, a coffee cup, a cappuccino cup, a milk coffee cup, and two cup sizes. The semi-tough scoop ensures that the coffee remains stable, while the saucer park built for Palermo ensures a flavourful match with almost any porcelain shape, including coup, flag, and asymmetrical presentations. Palermo is not a classic design, but has been the best-selling cup shape from Holst Porzellan for years.
