Line Heike
Compared to the Journal Mugs, the Heike Shape Porcelain Mugs have a more pronounced conical shape and embody the modern, dynamic lifestyle with their straight, streamlined "V" design. The handle is narrower and more delicate than the handles on the Journal mugs, but has a large contact surface with the body of the mug, making it resistant to mechanical impact.
The Heike mugs are fitted with an almost identical adjusting ring, allowing both mugs to be used with the same saucer. As with all tall and narrow cups, the centre of gravity of the filled cup is conveniently close to the handle. This makes handling easy and comfortable. The semi-rigid stem provides good stability and keeps hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold for much longer than, for example, tempered glass cups.
The handleless cup is particularly suitable for cold drinks such as milk and milkshakes, cocoa or iced coffee due to its long temperature retention capacity. It can also be used for hot drinks with a silicone band.
