Collection Anna - Cups & Mugs of modern design in Porcelain

We have given the items in the ‘Anna’ series the name mugs-tumbler, because they cannot be clearly categorised as either mugs or cups according to the rules of baristas or porcelain makers.

According to the rules of the porcelain makers, a cup is always used together with a saucer and it is only in this combination that it is then referred to as a cup. The master of ceremonies, on the other hand, always refers to the vessel from which hot drinks such as tea, coffee or cocoa are served as a cup, regardless of whether it is used with or without a saucer.

The series of cups and saucers called Anna are all cups that can be used with or without a saucer. In terms of design, they cannot be clearly assigned to a particular beverage, such as cappuccino, white coffee or fruit tea.

Anna is in keeping with the modern zeitgeist and offers a free choice for the right taste, the right drink or the right occasion. The cup series Anna, with its four sizes, offers the entire range of drinks from 220 to 800 ml in a stylish way. The two smaller sizes are particularly pleasant: the 0.22 litre cup is wider and lower, while the 240-ml cup is slimmer and taller. The 400-ml cup is the classic size and shape of a typical ‘coffee pot’ and is suitable for both a caffeinated breakfast coffee and for classic coffee and tea enjoyment at work. The giant 800ml cup is suitable for XXL restaurants, but we have designed it more as a soup, bouillon, snack and dessert cup. Incidentally, it is perfect for serving 5-minute terrines and many ready meals.

The cup-mugs of the Anna series are perfect for both private and commercial consumers. They are not only modern and beautiful, but also meet the highest hygienic and practical requirements. Above all, the wide bases provide a secure stand on trays and wobbly surfaces, the handles are large and also offer space for large hands.

Made of high-quality feldspar porcelain in a semi-sturdy quality, they keep the warmth of hot drinks stable for much longer than ordinary household porcelain, without appearing bulky or disharmonious. The raw materials consist only of natural, mineral substances and thus ensure their suitability for allergy sufferers and highly sensitive people. Unlike bone china, our porcelain does not contain any animal bone meal and is therefore also recommended for vegans.
