Safe our Planet - protect the environment together! Under this motto, we designed the Terry concept cups, which have not only replaced the previous handleless Journal cups but also represent the core element in the theme "Coffee to Go" or "Tea to Go".

Cups to Go – reusable mugs for on-the-go – are dedicated to those who wish to make an active contribution to waste reduction without having to forgo their coffee or tea while out and about; this appeals to both private and commercial consumers, as both can avoid an enormous amount of unnecessary waste with reusable mugs.

The basis for the reusable mug "Tea & Coffee to Go" from Holst Porzellan consists of two mug sizes, adapted to the usual serving units of 0.2 l and 0.3 l as commonly dispensed at petrol stations, bakeries, and most beverage machines; when filled to the mark, the porcelain mugs are slightly larger and hold 0.25 l and 0.38 l respectively, leaving space for milk and sugar and providing enough air for adequate sloshing tolerance so that the hot beverage does not spill during minor jolts.

The specially designed rims of the mug body provide a stable grip for nearly all standard disposable lids in the size of 80 mm, making the use of the To-Go porcelain mugs independent of the lid type (silicone, plastic, or cardboard), according to the user's preference.

Since To-Go mugs are often carried in handbags, briefcases, or backpacks after use, we have made the porcelain body a bit more robust, with the reinforced rim additionally serving as effective edge impact protection; the lower diameters of the porcelain mugs have been kept slim so that they fit in all common car holders.

It has been determined by the Federal Office for Risk Assessment that the use of plastic and bamboo mugs in conjunction with hot beverages can have health-hazardous effects; however, many consumers are unaware that disposable packaging such as pizza boxes and paper cups are not hygienically cleaned before use and are often stored and transported for months under decay-promoting conditions.

No material is more hygienic than porcelain. With proper use, every consumer can ensure the hygienic stability of their mug for years. Porcelain is vegan and suitable for allergy sufferers and highly sensitive individuals, and unlike bamboo or plastic, it does not absorb foreign substances in large quantities or at high speed.

And by the way: if you are not on the go with a handleless mug, you can wonderfully use it for milkshakes, iced coffee, fruit teas, milk smoothies, and latte macchiato.
