Catering, i.e. the continuous mobile supply of cups and drinking cups for events, places the highest demands on physical stability and surface resistance. Cups in the catering business have to be able to ‘really withstand something’!

This is not only about the stability of the body (cup body), but also about corrosion resistance to aggressive detergents and stackability. Vitreous porcelain is superior to porcelain in terms of physical resistance, but cannot guarantee the stability of the glaze as reliably as porcelain. In our opinion, ceramic cups, bone china and stoneware are not suitable for use in professional catering due to their general sensitivity. From Holst Porzellan's large collection of cups and mugs, we have compiled a selection of cups that, thanks to their shape, material properties and design, are particularly suited to the high demands of catering.
