Line Teardrops Swing

The Swingbowls from the "Teardrops" design line are porcelain bowls with a high-end design, an evolution of food presenters in bowl form.

Unlike traditional porcelain bowls, the Swingbowls, available in five sizes (9, 19, 25, 32, and 43 cm), are not large-volume bowls for holding large quantities but flat, bowl-shaped food presenters designed for the presentation of smaller, refined portions. The design concept of the Teardrops line aims to visually enhance the culinary appeal of a dish and give presentations an extraordinary and sophisticated look.

The Swingbowls can accompany a culinary ensemble ranging from the 9 cm appetizer bowl or amuse-bouche to an opulent main course served in the impressive 43 cm bowl. For salads, delicacies of all kinds, starters, dessert variations, and molecular cuisine creations, the 19 cm, 25 cm, and 32 cm bowls are available to suit different tastes and portion sizes.

The Swingbowls are made from genuine feldspar porcelain with a medium-strength shard thickness, providing the durability and functionality required for professional gastronomic use: dishwasher safety, microwave suitability, high thermal and hygienic stability, as well as much greater resistance to mechanical and chemical stress compared to ordinary household dishes.

We found it particularly interesting to discover that many private individuals also enjoy using these large-sized design bowls as decorative bowls in home living. Decorative elements, candles, and dried arrangements appear elegantly avant-garde in these design bowls. As bowls for pastries or sweets, they even give chips and gummy bears a touch of design sophistication.

Each piece of the Swingbowls porcelain bowls is handcrafted and fired at temperatures exceeding 1,320 °C. Each piece is unique, and the shape thrives on its individual character. The raised final lines on the bowl edges are not identical like plastic bowls but, in their variety, symbolize the high art of traditional handmade porcelain production.
