Porcelain duo and twin bowls
Duo bowls or double bowls made of porcelain are perfect for serving two components. The small double bowls made of white porcelain are ideal for various sauces and side dishes such as ketchup and mayonnaise, sweet and spicy mustard, dessert sauces like chocolate sauce and raspberry sauce, and many other variations of pestos, sauces, and dips.
On the breakfast table, breakfast buffet, and self-service breakfast, duo bowls are particularly popular for serving butter and jam, as a jam dish for red and yellow jelly, as well as for other spreads like honey, Nutella, and maple syrup.
In terms of functionality, double bowls made of porcelain are significantly superior to regular mini bowls. Compared to glass bowls made of hard glass, porcelain bowls do not become dull and cloudy and maintain not only their hygiene but also their appealing and clean appearance, giving the user a sense of cleanliness and hygiene even after long-term use.
More importantly, duo bowls are much more stable in the dishwasher. Especially in powerful industrial dishwashers, light glass bowls tend to "fly around," damaging other dishes or simply not getting cleaned properly. Double bowls, on the other hand, have a higher weight and thus offer twice the stability during washing as compared to regular hard glass bowls.
Plastic bowls and disposable packaging used in hotels, restaurants, and the institutional care of patients in hospitals, nursing homes, and fast food restaurants for serving portioned butter are an unnecessary burden on the environment and should be completely avoided by responsible hosts.
Finally, porcelain bowls are simply more attractive and emphasize the individuality of the sauces and side dishes. They should replace all types of disposable packaging for those aiming to host conscientiously.
