Aurora star bowls

The Aurora bowl series, launched in autumn 2025, was inspired by the Australis aurora borealis and designed as a six-pointed star series. The bowl walls rise slightly and are individually designed in different heights proportional to their intended use.

We have assigned a specific function to each bowl and adjusted the bowl depth accordinglyAlthough the sizes are not uniform, the bowls form a harmonious whole in their series image. The result is a star bowl series that perfectly combines form and function.

Aurora was released in winter 2025 in four sizes. The 8.5 cm mini bowl is ideal for serving dips, sauces, appetisers and confectionery treats. The 21 cm star bowl is ideal for presenting Christmas biscuits, all kinds of sweets and savoury snacks on the table. Soups, rich starters and desserts are also among its functions.

Although the outer dimensions correspond to a full-size dinner plate, the serving area is only comparable to a centre plate. The 30 cm star bowl with its 1 litre capacity is used at the table to serve side dishes, pastries, starters and desserts for several people.

As all bowls are made of high-quality feldspar porcelain, they are physically and thermally very resilient, suitable for use in the microwave and, provided thermal shock is avoided, even in the oven. Thanks to their raised rims, all Aurora star bowls can be stacked neatly inside each other, taking up very little space.

Their semi-strong body makes the porcelain bowls ideal for gastronomic use and ensures the highest standards of hygiene. Of course, the bowls are vegan, anti-allergenic and also suitable for highly sensitive people. The Aurora bowl series can be perfectly combined with the five-pointed star bowls from the Auriel series. Although their walls are steeper and the serving surfaces smaller, the two star bowl series also create a harmonious overall picture when combined.
