Dressing pots & sauce containers
In contrast to most other suppliers, Holst Porzellan manufactures its dressing pots from pure feldspar porcelain. Although it is considerably more expensive to make these salad dressing containers from porcelain instead of ceramic, it is very quickly noticeable in the use of the sauce pots.
19 out of 20 establishments provide their guests with stainless steel ladles for portioning salad dressings and dressings. One or the other inexperienced guest likes to hit the edges and edges of the ceramic vessels, which then break out very quickly. As a result, there are somewhat unsightly dressing containers at the salad buffet, which can quickly become questionable even from a hygienic point of view.
This does not happen with porcelain dressing pots! They are considerably more resistant to impact and mechanical stress and even keep the cold in the salad dressing longer than the ceramic pots.
Some of the salad eaters consist of vegetarians, vegans and highly sensitive people. As a matter of principle, this clientele should completely refrain from handling ceramics and chrome steel. Unfortunately, only a few professional hosts pay attention to this to this day. Attentive kitchen and restaurant chefs offer these guests porcelain ladles that release absolutely no corrosion on the food and sauces. This offers the guest 100% security and ensures a high level of recognition.
Holst Porzellan has two designs of dressing containers in its collection: the classic Alsatian shape with hinted handles and a modern shape that is more in line with young and modern taste requirements. As for the range of dressing container sizes, we offer all sizes ranging from a small restaurant (0.5 L) to a factory canteen (2.6 L). Please remember, our sizes are always measured with water and the recommended filling quantity of dressing sauces is about half of the filling quantity.
Serving recommendation
Sauces and salad dressings containing mustard or vinegar attack chrome steel relatively quickly. If a CNS dressing spoon is left in the dressing pot for hours, it can lead to an undesirable change in taste and corrosion of harmful substances in the salad dressing. Therefore, we recommend positioning the KP 026 spoon rest in the cooling area of the salad buffet in front of the dressing pot so that the guest can put the ladle back there after use. If the dressing pot is unrefrigerated, the salad dressings should be replaced after 120 minutes at the latest.
