Motif spoons made of white porcelain

In 2003, Holst Porzellan designed and manufactured the first porcelain spoons with motifs for the Raffelberg Collection. After the Raffelberg design line was discontinued, we at Holst Porzellan decided not only to continue this collection of motif spoons, but to expand it even further. Holst Porzellan Germany is one of the international market leaders in white porcelain spoons made from white feldspar porcelain. The difference between these spoons and many other ceramic spoons on the market is not only their brilliant white colour, which matches all white porcelain series, but also their physical and hygienic stability.

The main feature of the motif spoons is clearly the distinctive motifs on both sides of the upper end of the spoon handles. These motifs decorate coffee and tea cups and are suitable as egg spoons, ice cream spoons, yoghurt spoons and dessert spoons, as well as for portioning jams, Nutella, honey and, of course, sauces and dips.

We offer a total of 10 main motifs in different lengths and for different occasions in this ‘motif spoons’ section. The Santa Claus, fir tree and angel Christmas spoons are particularly noteworthy. At Easter, the rabbit spoon decorates the table, and the moon, cat and star spoons can be used all year round. Conventional metal spoons and placemats usually contain chrome, nickel or chrome-nickel steel (WMF name: Cromargan). The number of people with metal allergies has been steadily increasing in our society for many years. Other highly sensitive people, IV allergy sufferers and people with weakened immune systems also have to switch to anti-allergic and corrosion-free materials such as feldspar porcelain for their diet and cooking and serving utensils.

In addition to this anti-allergic and hygienic stability, only porcelain is completely tasteless, corrosion-free and microwave-safe. Porcelain spoons do not change their consistency even after hours, days or weeks of storage in vinegar, salt or mustard-containing sauces and solutions. They are simple and easy to clean and, compared to metal and steel, are usually much cheaper. Unlike wood and bamboo, they do not absorb moisture and do not become dull and unpleasant in the mouth. Unlike melamine and plastic, they do not release any toxic substances when used with hot food and drinks. There is a reason why all types of soups and liquid dishes are eaten with a porcelain spoon in Asian cultures and why the most prestigious chopsticks are made of decorated porcelain. Porcelain cutlery is a health care product and particularly suitable for allergy sufferers and highly sensitive people. In our plastic-polluted disposable society, porcelain offers a good return to natural and healthy eating in every respect.
